Trouble Sleeping
I had trouble sleeping the other night.
Because I had a question running circles in my brain.
Do cheetahs have round ears or pointed?
It circled around, adding to itself, and getting more complicated.
If cheetahs have round ears, and so do tigers, and lions and they are all old world cats... then do all new world cats like bobcats, lynxes, ocelots, leopards, panthers, jaguars, etc. have pointy ears?
If so then new world cats=pointy eared and old world cats=round-eared. Right?
In which case, domestic cats would have been bred from new world cats, because they have pointy ears. So how did they end up in Egypt? They were in egypt long before the new world was discovered.
Evolution has always fascinated me. See if you can figure it out. :)
(Or just let it keep you up at night)

not true, cougars' ears are distinctly pointy or at least oval. While cheetah ears are very round.
