Pregnant and hatin it
I have gotten so bored, and fat, and I just want to be done with being pregnant now. Sadly I still have almost 2.5 months to go. I just want to have a baby now, I am tired of lugging all this extra weight and not having the energy to do anything.
I have been trying to get the baby's room ready for him, but for every day that I spend working on it I have to take 2 days to recover my energy and let my back rest so it'll stop hurting.
I did get some curtains made for the room, and hung drywall where there was a hole in the wall from an old plumbing issue. Still need to get the new piece of drywall mudded and taped, sanded, mudded again, and sanded again before I can start in primering everything.
It's still gonna be a lot of work. I really wish I had someone to help me with it, work always goes faster when you have company. Mina's been trying to help, but while she's an excellent sander, her mudding skills need work. Takes her three times as long to mud the same amount of wall as it takes me.
I just hope I have it all finished before I go into labor. Even though two and a half months seems like a long time in terms of how long I'll have to be huge and ungainly, it also feels like a short time to get everything done and ready for the baby.
It's a boy, his name is going to be Alexander Maxwell, and he's due October 23rd. Don't think I had mentioned that in previous blogs.

Followed you "home" after seeing your wonderful comment at Zilla's! Thank you for articulating so wonderfully exactly the truth in a nutshell!
Sonograms have come so very far in the 30 years since my youngest son was born; like so many other things around us, an amazing technology!
Take your vitamins and eat right; it's hard to do right now, but it will help with the energy, as does lots of sleep!
Getting things done in time is always hard, but the important ones always are and the others can wait their turn!

I was no big fan of pregnancy, but I'm very excited for you, now that you're so near the finish. The time sure flew for me!
If I'd had drywalling to do while pregnant with either kids, I'd have been such a baby about it. You're being very proactive about it.
